Ministry to the Aged with Dementia
What can chaplains, ministers, and counselors learn from those providing ministry, support, and care to those with dementia? According to the World Health Organization, the number and proportion of people aged 60 and older is increasing from one billion in 2019 to 1.4 billion by 2030. This upward trend is accelerating, especially in developing countries. Equally challenging is the impact of dementia on the estimated 55 million people worldwide. In this free webinar, the Marsh Center for Chaplain Studies has enlisted an international panel of experts and practitioners. Because of our international panelists, we will offer this two-hour webinar twice: May 2, 2024, at 8:00 am and another at 4:00 pm (Central Daylight-Saving Time, USA). CEU credits are available for those requesting at the time of registration.
