Faces of Carroll: Scott Shiffer

There are many reasons why our students, professors, and teaching churches choose B.H. Carroll Theological Institute. So many, that we decided to round up some of our favorite stories in this series: The Faces of Carroll.

What do you teach at Carroll?

Christian Theology

What motivated you to teach at Carroll?

I love the school, its mission, vision, the heart for ministry, focus on academia and praxis, etc.

Tell us more about your teaching ministry.

I am the program director for the Master of Arts in Christian Studies and the Master of Arts in Christian Leadership at Criswell College.

Could you provide some examples of some of the best moments in teaching at Carroll?

It is always fun to hear students say things like “I have never thought of that this way before,” or “now I finally understand this concept that has been confusing for a long time.”
