IRVING, Texas (August 21, 2020)—B.H. Carroll Theological Institute will begin offering intensive courses in selected subjects beginning in November.
The compressed courses are an opportunity for master’s-level students to complete all in-class lectures for a course within a single week. Some assignments, however, may require completion either before or after the lecture sessions.
Four courses have been added to the schedule between November 30, 2020, and June 11, 2021. Each course will meet Monday through Friday, synchronously from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, via Zoom. Those courses include:
Emmanuel Intensive
SWBLI 5113 Old Testament III with Dr. Joe Cathey
November 30 to December 4, 2020
Paschal Intensive
SWBLI 5111 Old Testament I with Dr. Joe Cathey
January 4 to January 8, 2021
Omega Intensive
SWBLI 5112 Old Testament II with Dr. Joe Cathey
May 17 to May 21, 2021.
Summer Intensive
SWBLI 5213 New Testament III with Dr. Bill Victor
June 7 to June 11, 2021
In a one-week intensive, from Monday to Friday, daily live lectures will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon, via Zoom. Assigned readings are prerequisites for this course. Students will then have between two to eight weeks after the lecture week to submit examinations and research projects.
Registration for intensive courses is the same as for online course enrollment for the corresponding term. Students will have access to the course shell, syllabus, and textbook information once enrolled.
