Convocation and Graduation Update

IRVING, Texas (April 6, 2020) – Due to the COVID-19 pandemic B. H. Carroll Theological Institute has chosen to postpone Convocation and Graduation.

Our graduates have sacrificed and worked diligently to complete their degree plans. We celebrate this accomplishment with them and know that our Lord will use every experience during their studies with us to equip them for His call on their life and ministry.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in our country, we have chosen to postpone the Carroll Convocation scheduled on Friday, May 22, at First Baptist Church, Burleson, Texas. Safety is our first concern, and we believe this is our best choice at this time.

What does this mean?

  • Graduates will be mailed their diploma in May.
  • We have tentatively chosen Friday, November 13, for this year’s Convocation.
  • The venue may change, but we will alert you everyone in plenty of time to make arrangements if that does change.

Though we are disappointed along with our graduates about this postponement, we share the trust that God is ultimately in control of His-story and that His timing is perfect in everything.

If you have any questions, contact Dr. Stan Moore, our Registrar and Chair of our Convocation service committee, or Michelle Martin, Director of Admissions.

We share the promise of God through His servant, Paul, the Apostle, who faced harsh circumstances throughout his ministry that “the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Serving Him With You,
