David Ritsema, a PHD graduate and Resident Fellow at B. H. Carroll Theological Institute, as well as a member of its Board of Governors, was featured last month in the Baptist Standard. Every week, the Standard focuses on a Texas Baptist pastor in an interview style section entitled “Deep in the Hearts of Texans.” Since 2000, Dr. Ritsema has pastored four other churches in Texas before becoming lead pastor at First Baptist Church Waxahachie, so he has much to say about church ministry and pastoring.
