Inaugural Recipients of the Snider Scholarship

B.H. Carroll Theological Institute was pleased to award the first Snider Scholarships for Women in Ministry to Beka Mullins and Andrea Harrington, students in Carroll’s M.A. Counseling Program. The Snider Scholarship is named in honor of William Bennett Snider, grandfather of Michelle Salzman who is a Resident Fellow in B.H. Carroll’s Psychology and Counseling Department. The scholarship is designed to provide financial support to female students training for their M.A. Counseling degrees. Beka Mullins is a first year student from Grand Prairie, Texas. Her counseling goal is to work with traumatized adolescents. Andrea Harrington is also in her first year and lives in Burleson, Texas. She plans to seek her Texas LPC licensure. Both women were chosen for their grades, classroom performance, and for their potential to serve effectively in the counseling field.
